The production team of "Avenida Brasil 2" is seeking extras with specialties in various areas, including skateboarders, circus artists, funk dancers, ballet dancers and samba musicians.
Among the confirmed cast members are Marcos Caruso, Letícia Isnard and Eliane Giardini, who played Leleco, Ivana and Muricy respectively in the original version of the novel. Drico Alves will also be in the storyline with a new character, while Jéssica Ellen is being considered for the production.
The writing team of author João Emanuel Carneiro will be composed of Vincent Villari, Eliane Garcia, Marcia Prates, Marta Rangel and Paula Amaral. Artistic director Ricardo Waddington defined his team, which will include Henrique Sauer as general director, André Barros, Mayara Aguiar and Isabella Teixeira. Lucas Villamarim recently left the project to dedicate himself to directing a new series on Globoplay.
Thelma Guedes' storyline will relaunch the slot for new unaired telenovelas at 11pm on Globo. In addition, Aguinaldo Silva, Virgílio Silva and Zé Dassilva will write a new telenovela together.
