A 39-year-old woman was beaten by her husband, 54, in front of two children in Jaguariaíva, in the Campos Gerais region of Paraná, on Sunday (30). During the aggression, the victim asked her oldest son to film the scenes to have proof of what was happening. According to the Public Ministry, the man allegedly hit his wife with punches, hair pulling, shoving, and blows with a piece of wood, in addition to attempting to suffocate her with a pillow.

The aggressor also threatened to kill the victim and the children if he was reported. The woman's stepson was hit in the back during the aggression. During the beating, the woman even said that if she died, at least the aggressor would be arrested. After the aggression, the man prevented his wife from leaving the house, took her phone and beat her again.

In the early morning from Sunday to Monday (31), when the husband fell asleep, the victim managed to recover her phone. She then created a fake profile on social media and posted the video of the aggression to ask for help. The case is being investigated by the Civil Police.
