The President of the Regional Government of the Azores announced that the region met all milestones and targets set in the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). This statement comes in response to the negative comments that had previously been made about the region's ability to achieve these objectives.

According to the official, the results demonstrate that the "pessimistic and catastrophic scenarios" presented by some sectors did not come to pass. The region managed to move forward with the reforms and investments planned in the European recovery plan.
