Firearms and ammunition handed over to the PSP in the Algarve</minimax:tool_call>

The Faro District Command of the PSP received 18 firearms that were voluntarily handed over by their owners. These deliveries took place between June 29 and August 31. In addition to the weapons, 58 rounds of ammunition and cartridges were also handed over. The delivery period coincided with the summer season, when the Algarve receives a large number of tourists. The voluntary surrender of weapons is a practice encouraged by authorities to remove firearms from circulation that could pose a danger.
