Observador3 September 2026 at 16:07

Three young people were detained by Portuguese authorities on suspicion of involvement in killings linked to a shooting in Amadora. The crimes are believed to have been motivated by alleged retaliation following a previous incident that occurred in Carcavelos.

The fatal victim of the shooting was 43 years old and died on May 21, after being hit by three shots. The case involved young suspects believed to be acting in a context of retaliation for a previous conflict.

The authorities proceeded with the detentions based on evidence linking the suspects to the crime in Amadora, where the shooting took place that resulted in the death of the 43-year-old man. The incident in Carcavelos is believed to have served as the trigger for the retaliatory act.
