The Ministry of Agriculture made ten million euros available to address the damage to agricultural holdings caused by the fires that broke out this summer in the municipalities of Valpaços and Vouzela, which extended to other municipalities. The order was signed by the Minister of Agriculture and the Sea, José Manuel Fernandes, and was published today in the Official Gazette. This measure aims to support the farmers affected by the fires that occurred during the summer season, covering not only the two main localities but also other municipalities that were hit by the flames. The funds are specifically intended for the recovery of agricultural holdings that suffered damage due to the fires.
