A foreign group bought the Garagem Atlântico, a historic building in Porto, and will invest 10 million euros in its conversion. The building, which served as the city's main bus terminal for over 40 years, had been abandoned for nearly a decade.
The intervention aims to give new life to this iconic building in Invicta, the name by which Porto is known. The reconversion project is expected to be completed in 2028.
The space will be born as a cultural and creative space, open to the city. With this transformation, the aim is to recover a building that marked the urban history and transport of Portugal's second largest city.
