Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) will invest 700 million euros in the Alentejo region by the end of 2028, covering projects both in the road and rail networks. The announcement was made at the ceremony for the inauguration of the new Eastern Variant to Évora of the IP2.
The investment aims to strengthen the transport infrastructure in the Alentejo region, ensuring better mobility and connectivity conditions. The value represents a significant commitment by IP for the development of the region.
The inauguration event was attended by the Secretary of State for Infrastructure, who took the opportunity to ensure that IP will continue to invest in the region. This commitment comes within the scope of a broader plan for the modernization of national infrastructure.
