FlixBus filed a lawsuit against Rede Expressos to gain access to the Sete Rios terminal in Lisbon. The international transport company claims it needs access to this infrastructure to operate its routes in the Portuguese capital.
Rede Expressos responded saying that, when the time comes, it will allow access to the terminal in Lisbon on the 24th. The Portuguese road transport company is the current concessionaire of the Sete Rios terminal.
The case arises in the context of a commercial dispute between the two road transport companies. FlixBus, a leading German company in the long-distance passenger transport sector, intends to expand its operations in Portugal and considers access to the Sete Rios terminal essential to serve passengers in the Lisbon area.
