Tourismo do Algarve will create two scholarships aimed at students of the Tourism Degree at the University of Algarve. These scholarships aim to support and recognize the academic merit of students in this higher education program.
One of the scholarships will be awarded to a student who demonstrates economic hardship, thus functioning as a social support mechanism for those facing financial difficulties in attending the course. The other scholarship will be awarded to the student who achieves the best average throughout the first year of the course, thereby valuing academic performance.
The value of each scholarship will be equivalent to the annual tuition fee charged by the university, thus helping to cover the training costs of the selected students.
This initiative is a collaboration between Turismo do Algarve and the University of Algarve, aiming to contribute to the qualification of professionals in the tourism sector in the region.
