Rock in Rio 2026 begins this Friday (4th) with more than 100 attractions and an expectation of 100,000 people each day. The festival held on Wednesday (2nd) a test event with thousands of spectators who were able to get an idea of how the event will work. The organization of the Olympic Park, in the West Zone of Rio, is extremely similar to the 2024 edition, with spaces and locations practically unchanged.

Despite the general maintenance of the structure, there are significant novelties, especially at the Mundo Stage. The space now features a large LED screen of 104 meters in length and 31.05 meters in height, totaling approximately 2,400 square meters of LED screen area.

This trend follows the standard of international festivals like Coachella and major world tours, such as those by Beyoncé and Taylor Swift. The audience experience will be totally immersive, as each artist will be able to set up the screen however they want.

Roberta Medina, vice president of Rock World, the company responsible for the festival, stated that the new structure will provide an unprecedented visual experience for the Rock in Rio audience.
