The DocLisboa festival will run between October 15 and 25, presenting a program that includes documentaries about various cultural figures. Among the highlights are films dedicated to Rushdie, Elza Soares and Kate Bush, covering different areas such as literature, music and performing arts.
The event will also host the debut of the first film directed by actress Juliette Binoche, marking her transition to film directing. This is one of the most anticipated additions to the festival's program.
DocLisboa also presents "Orson Welles: The One-Man Band", a film directed by Oja Kodar and Vassili Silovic. This work joins a diverse range of documentaries that make up the offering of the documentary film festival.
