Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez supports Red Cross in response to people in vulnerable situations

The Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez signed a protocol with the Arcuense delegation of the Red Cross to support the renovation works of the Headquarters Building and the creation of a reception space for people in vulnerable situations.

The agreement was signed by the mayor, Olegário Gonçalves, with the presence of deputy mayor Emília Cerdeira, the president of the Red Cross Delegation, Pedro Silva, members of the Association Friends of Vale EUA and representatives of the company responsible for the renovation works.

This protocol aims to strengthen partnerships and bring the municipality closer to the various institutions in the municipality, thus allowing a more effective response to the needs of the population and the territory.

In addition to financial support, the Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez also commits to providing technical and administrative support for the completion of the works.
