City Council supports 51 IPSS with a fund of 528 thousand euros

The Municipal Council approved a fund of 528 thousand euros to support 51 private social solidarity institutions (IPSS) in the municipality.

The financial support was approved under the Programme for Support to Private Social Solidarity Institutions, which aims to reinforce the work carried out by these organizations in the social sector.

IPSS are non-profit organizations that provide essential services in the areas of social action, health and education, often functioning as fundamental partners of local authorities in meeting the needs of local populations.

This fund comes in a context of growing demand for social responses, where these institutions face increasing challenges in funding their activities and maintaining the services provided to communities.
