Carlo Ancelotti returned to Real Madrid on Thursday, this time as a visitor, to visit the Valdebebas training center ahead of the merengue team's match against Real Betis in the fourth round of the Spanish League.
The Brazilian national team coach greeted the players at the start of training and dedicated special attention to three Brazilians: Endrick, Rodrygo, and Militão. The three continue working separately while recovering from injuries.
The visit had a purpose beyond the reunion with the club Ancelotti managed for years. The three players are important for the Brazilian national team, and the Italian coach took advantage of his time in Valdebebas to personally monitor the players' progress just weeks before the next international break.
The Spanish newspaper Marca reported that Ancelotti is also seeking detailed information about the physical condition of the Brazilian trio to determine the national team call-up. In the last World Cup, Brazil was eliminated in the round of 16.
