SAPO Notícias3 September 2026 at 12:10

Miguel Oliveira will continue with the official ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK team in 2027, after renewing his contract with the German brand. The Portuguese rider, 31 years old, will complete his second season with the BMW official structure in the World Superbikes.

Oliveira joined the championship in 2026, when he made his debut in the competition after completing seven seasons in MotoGP, where he achieved victories and podiums throughout his career.

The renewal with BMW guarantees that Oliveira will continue to compete in the World Superbikes, a championship where he intends to continue developing and achieving consistent results with the German motorcycle.

This news comes at a time when the Portuguese rider begins a new phase of his career, leaving behind the experience accumulated in MotoGP to establish himself in the Superbikes championship.
