Industrial producer prices rise 5.8% in the euro area and 5.6% in the EU in July

Industrial producer prices in the euro area rose 5.8% in July, compared to the same period the previous year. In the European Union as a whole, year-on-year growth was 5.6%.

In Portugal, industrial producer prices also recorded a significant increase, with a 5.0% rise in year-on-year variation. Regarding month-on-month variation, the country saw prices rise by 1.2%.

Infraestruturas de Portugal (IP) will invest 700 million euros in the Alentejo by the end of 2028 in road and rail works, covering the three districts of the region. Milk price drops cost 72 ME to producers in 2026

Milk price drops recorded since the beginning of the year and until December will cost national producers approximately 72 million euros, according to an estimate from the Portuguese Milk Producers Association (Aprolep), sent to the news agency.
