Arcos de Valdevez initiates the construction of the Alameda Cultural Gallery

The Municipality of Arcos de Valdevez will begin the construction of the Alameda Cultural Gallery, with an estimated intervention of 1.6 million euros. The consignment was signed by the mayor, Olegário Gonçalves, marking the start of this work that reinforces the municipality's commitment to expanding cultural spaces and the capacity to host cultural events.

The Alameda Cultural Gallery is part of the requalification project of the Alameda Cinema Theater, with this project focused on artistic creation, production and promotion of local cultural industries. The new space arises within the scope of the requalification of the existing building and aims to establish itself as a hub of sustainability and growth for the creative sector in the region.

The space will provide areas dedicated to exhibitions, conferences and performances, contributing to boost the cultural offering of Arcos de Valdevez and support professionals and initiatives in the local cultural sector.
