Minister Dias Toffoli, from the Federal Supreme Court, authorized the digital campaign of Wilson Grassi, affiliated with Democrats. The decision revoked a previous suspension that had been imposed on the candidate's campaign.
With the decision, the transfer of electoral resources for Grassi's digital campaign, who is running for President, is now permitted. The release of funds was the main point under discussion in the case.
The case reached the STF after appeals filed by Grassi's defense against the suspension of his digital campaign. Toffoli examined the merits of the issue and decided to release the electoral transfers.
The authorization allows Wilson Grassi's campaign to operate normally again in the digital environment, with access to the funds designated for his presidential candidacy.
