Norway detains Russian ship at request of Ukrainian company Naftogaz

Norway detained a Russian ship at the request of the Ukrainian state-owned oil company Naftogaz. The detention of the vessel occurred following a court decision made on Monday by the Tromsø Northern District Court of Norway. This Norwegian court was responsible for issuing the order that led to the seizure of the ship. Naftogaz, the Ukrainian state-owned oil company, was the entity that requested the detention of the Russian vessel through legal means.
