Banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, has been arrested since March at the 19th Military Police Battalion, known as Papudinha. On August 27, he gave testimony to an auxiliary judge of Supreme Court minister André Mendonça, in a hearing that had no Federal Police members present.
During the testimony, Vorcaro declared that he had the greatest interest in reaching a plea agreement, but stated that the Federal Police did not want to hear him. According to the banker's interlocutors, he said he had a lot to talk about, however there was resistance from the PF leadership to continue with the collaboration agreement.
The banker also reported having suffered psychological intimidation during the period he was secluded at the Federal Police headquarters. The PF stated it would not comment on the case.
Vorcaro's lawyers Daniel Bialski and Sergio Leonardo were contacted by the column. The hearing was revealed by the Bela Megale column.
