dnoticias.pt2 September 2026 at 22:00

Madeiran students attending higher education on the mainland or in the Azores can use consultations, examinations and other healthcare services in the private sector and subsequently request reimbursement from IASAÚDE. This support does not mean the student does not pay at the time of service. First, the amount charged by the provider is settled, and then the reimbursement request is submitted. The amount returned is calculated according to the Regional Health Service reimbursement table.
