Fernando Haddad, the PT's presidential candidate, was on a campaign stop in Santos, on the coast of São Paulo, when he was questioned about the absence of a statement from President Lula in light of the new developments in the Banco Master case. Former President Lula is the only presidential candidate who has not yet made a public statement about the case.
Without directly answering the question about Lula's silence, Haddad defended that information be disclosed without selectivity. He stated that secrecy is being lifted from various processes and questioned why Flavio Bolsonaro's process remains under seal, since, according to him, everyone is being exposed.
Haddad also reiterated his defense of lifting the secrecy of Operation Dark Horse, which investigated an alleged scheme to sell judicial decisions. The PT candidate said that if something is to be exposed, everything should be exposed, without selectivity.
Other politicians mentioned in the crisis include Alexandre de Moraes, from the STF, Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, and Mendonça, whose meetings with Vorcaro were considered "professional" by Flavio Bolsonaro, who again requested Moraes' impeachment.
