One of the most emblematic and expensive mansions in Rio de Janeiro begins to be demolished this Thursday (3) in the Leblon neighborhood. Located in Jardim Pernambuco, the property was advertised for R$ 220 million and became known as the "most expensive house in Brazil."
The demolition is scheduled to occur over the next three months, when the mansion's structure will be completely removed from the neighborhood's landscape.
In place of the former residence, a very high-end housing condominium will be built. The estimated General Sales Value (GSV) for the new development is R$ 360 million.
