Sebastião Bugalho, PSD spokesperson, criticized the censure motion submitted by Chega against the Government in an interview with RTP. Bugalho stated he does not understand the initiative by the far-right party, considering it unnecessary and predictable.

The PSD spokesperson characterized the censure motion as "a pre-announced parliamentary defeat" for Chega, suggesting the party knew in advance it would not secure approval for the measure.

The PSD's position comes at a moment of political tension, with the party distancing itself from Chega's strategy regarding the contestation of the Government.

Bugalho used the RTP interview to question the logic of the motion, implying that the PSD sees no political basis for this initiative by André Ventura's party.
