Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP), through deputy Patrícia Spínola, expressed its position on the situation it considers serious in the health sector. The deputy warned about the recent paralysis of several examination rooms, as well as the systematic postponement of urgent and oncological medical procedures.
According to JPP, these situations should not be viewed as mere unforeseen events. The party understands that they represent a direct reflection of a health policy that it considers to be based on propaganda, rather than adequately investing in the necessary resources.
JPP points to chronic underinvestment in human capital as the main cause of these problems. The lack of diagnostic technicians is viewed by party representatives as a direct consequence of this sustained policy of underinvestment over time.
