Ciro Gomes' coalition (PSDB) in Ceará called on the State Public Ministry to investigate graffiti attributed to the criminal faction Primeiro Comando Capital (PCC) in the municipality of Itapipoca. The inscription, made on a wall, contained the message that it would be "forbidden to campaign" for the tucano ex-governor, who is running for state government.
Ciro Gomes' campaign filed a crime report with the Ceará Public Ministry, alleging the practice of electoral crimes. The complaint argues that the graffiti was intended to intimidate and restrict political exercise in the city.
According to the coalition, the inscription establishes a prohibition on conducting electoral campaigns in favor of Ciro throughout the municipality of Itapipoca, associating this determination with the identification of a known criminal organization. The parties requested that the case be investigated.
