Feijóo, leader of the Popular Party, harshly criticized the Spanish Government for the management of the crisis in Ceuta, accusing it of having prior knowledge of the events and of having tried to conceal them. The PP formally expressed its protest against the way the Executive handled the situation.
The Minister of the Interior, Fernando Grande-Marlaska, had to request that the Director General of the Police, Francisco Pardo, give an account of the content of a report prepared by the National Center for Immigration and Borders (CENIF).
According to the news, this report was sent to the National Court and would attribute to the Moroccan Security Forces the responsibility for the massive assault on the Ceuta border, which occurred on July 30 and 31.
