The municipality of Vila Pouca de Aguar will requalify six buildings intended for preschool education in the municipality, with a total investment of 1,043,736.42 euros. The works were consigned on August 31 and cover the educational establishments of Vila do Conde, Tourencinho, Telões, Soutelo de Aguiar, Sabroso and Campo de Jales.
The works aim to reinforce the comfort of the establishments, improve their energy efficiency and make the spaces more functional and suited to the needs of the educational community, which includes children, educators and other professionals.
The project is financed through an application to the NORTE 2030 – FEDER program, allowing the municipality to proceed with this comprehensive intervention in six preschool education facilities.
This investment is part of a strategy to enhance the local educational network, seeking to ensure more modern and efficient facilities from the earliest years of schooling, placing the improvement of educational spaces as a priority for the territory.
