Microsoft has extended Windows 10 support for home users through the ESU (Extended Security Updates) program. Security updates will now be available until October 12, 2027, giving users who have not yet wanted or been able to migrate to Windows 11 another year.
The ESU program allows Windows 10 computers to continue receiving security patches after the official end of support. This extension is particularly important for those with older hardware that is not compatible with Windows 11.
Microsoft is also offering Windows 11 Pro at a promotional price of €12.25, encouraging users to make the upgrade. This promotion comes as part of the company's efforts to accelerate the transition of users to its latest operating system.
