Mais Guimarães2 September 2026 at 16:23

The Municipality is promoting free French training aimed at professionals in the tourism sector. The initiative aims to strengthen the qualification of these professionals and improve their capacity for customer service and communication with French-speaking visitors. Throughout the training, participants will have the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge that will enable them to communicate in simple everyday situations and in professional contexts.

The training has a total duration of 24 hours and will take place in person between September 14 and October 26, on Mondays and Fridays, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The sessions will be held at Sala dos Paços, in the Building of the Former Paços do Concelho, with free participation subject to prior registration.

This action is part of the "Formação + Próxima" program commitment, which aims at the valorization and qualification of human resources in tourism, assigning municipalities a strategic role in mobilizing and training local stakeholders. To obtain the certificate, participants must ensure a minimum attendance of 90%, active participation, and completion of the proposed activities.

Interested parties must complete their registration by September 8 through the link available on the Municipality's website.
