The Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil (Anac) has fully suspended the operations of Total Linhas Aéreas, a cargo airline that provides service to Correios. The decision is for an indefinite period and will remain in effect until the company overcomes the risk conditions and open non-conformities with the Superintendencies of Operational Standards and Airport Infrastructure.
Among the failures identified by the agency are critical and high-level problems related to operational safety systems and procedures, as well as issues involving civil aviation security against acts of unlawful interference. These failures were found in the administrative process and in other inspections conducted by the regulatory agency.
Total Linhas Aéreas must also reconstitute its administrative team, with validation of the indicated managers by the Superintendency of Operational Standards. Another required step involves the regularization of the Operational Safety Management System and the Continuous Analysis and Supervision System, which, according to Anac, were operating under irregular conditions.
