A 35-year-old man was arrested by PSP, this Tuesday, September 1st, in Vila Nova de Famalicão, for driving under the influence of alcohol. The arrest took place as part of a road traffic operation carried out by the police.

During the inspection, the driver presented an alcohol level of 1.51 g/l, a value that significantly exceeds the legal limit allowed for driving. The man was subsequently notified for judicial appearance, leaving the process in the competent authorities.

The case is part of a series of inspection operations that authorities have been carrying out on Portuguese roads, with the aim of preventing accidents caused by driving under the influence of alcohol.
