80 thousand euros to walk on the waters of the Guadiana

The Alcoutim City Council will invest around 80 thousand euros in the acquisition of rental, assembly and disassembly services for a floating platform on the Guadiana river. The investment is intended for the 2027 edition of the Contraband Festival, an event held in that region of the Algarve.

The floating platform will allow participants to walk on the waters of the Guadiana, creating a differentiated attraction for the festival. The amount includes all services necessary for the installation and removal of the structure.

This investment is part of the preparations for the next edition of the Contraband Festival, which continues to bet on unique experiences to attract visitors to the inland Algarve region. The information was published by the Algarve Marafado portal.
