Magalu products now offered through Mercado Livre, in partnership between the two companies

The Magazine Luiza group closed a partnership with Mercado Livre to offer products from its own inventory to marketplace customers. The agreement was announced on Wednesday and is part of Magalu's strategy to accelerate its e-commerce sales through partner marketplaces.

Mercado Livre customers will have access to items from three brands in the group: Magazine Luiza, KaBuM! and Época Cosméticos. Altogether, about 27 thousand products will be made available. All delivery operations will be handled by Magalog, an independent logistics operator from Magalu.

Magazine Luiza's CEO, Frederico Trajano, commented in a statement that the Brazilian e-commerce audience is increasingly fragmented, with several platforms competing for customers' attention. According to him, the group's strategy is to add the audience of its channels to that of other platforms. Magalu already has similar agreements with Amazon, AliExpress, Americanas, Itaú Shopping and Livelo.
