António Costa, President of the European Council, reiterated the European Union's commitment to supporting Ukraine against what he designated as "Russian threats" in the European space.
During his speech, Costa emphasized that the European bloc bases its position on the "fundamental values of international law," thus reiterating European support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
This declaration comes at a time of growing tension in Europe, where the Russian threat continues to be a central concern for European leaders. The President of the European Council thus reaffirmed European solidarity with Ukraine in this context.
