PSP de Coimbra searches man and finds cocaine... in his hat

PSP de Coimbra arrested a 24-year-old man in the early hours of today, September 2, being the second individual involved in the case. The arrest occurred on Rua Tenente, after the officers proceeded to search the suspect.

During the search of the man, the police discovered cocaine hidden in an unusual place: inside the individual's hat. The drug was found during the search operation carried out by PSP de Coimbra agents.

This is the second arrest made as part of this investigation. The authorities continue to act to identify and arrest all those involved in this police operation taking place in the city of Coimbra.

The facts known so far indicate that PSP de Coimbra maintains the ongoing investigation work, with the objective of clarifying the situation and determining any responsibilities of those arrested.

CHAVES REGISTRY OFFICE TARGET OF THEFT DURING THE EARLY MORNING

The Civil and Property Registry Office of Chaves was burglarized during the early morning, with intruders forcing the entrance door and stealing approximately 200 passports, 500 citizen cards, two white stamps, two safes and around 500 euros in cash.
