CHAVES REGISTRY OFFICE TARGET OF THEFT DURING THE EARLY MORNING

Over 69 thousand drivers were fined in Spain during a week of special speed enforcement campaign carried out in August, the peak period for holiday travel. The Directorate General for Traffic (DGT) installed 3,466 control points and checked the speed of over one million vehicles, with 6.7% being reported for speeding.
