The Medieval Market is returning to the Fortress of Valença, in an event that will run for three days. The Valença City Council announced the event through an informational note shared on social media, describing it as a programme that brings together tradition, culture and entertainment.

During the event, the streets and spaces of the Fortress will be occupied by merchants, craftspeople, musicians, knights and medieval characters, creating an authentic atmosphere of the era.

The medieval market will include various activities, namely crafts, arts and trades, dances, music, theatre, gastronomy and shows. The programme promises to offer diverse experiences to visitors.

Festival Brew! brings together 25 craft beer brands in Coimbra

The craft beer festival Brew! returns to Coimbra from September 11 to 13 for its sixth edition, at Verd'O Parque, bringing together 25 national and international brands, including beer from Finland and Spain. Among the novelties, the "Beer Wall" stands out, a structure with eight taps to taste beers from about 10 countries, and the Mondeguipa, a beer developed specifically for the event using rice from the Mondego. The organization hopes to surpass the 10 to 12 thousand visits from the previous edition, with access cups at five euros and beers between 2.50 and five euros. The festival also includes musical programming, the first Corrida Munda, and a free children's area, with municipal support of 65 thousand euros.
