A study called PetPulse indicates that companion animals are occupying an increasingly larger space in purchases made by Portuguese consumers. This trend reflects a shift in the population's consumption habits.

In Portugal, the animal products category on the Glovo platform recorded significant growth. The study data shows that this category increased by approximately 50% between 2025 and 2026, evidencing the growing demand for these products through delivery services.
