The first Quaest poll conducted after the presidential candidates' interviews on TV Globo, broadcast last week, shows President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) with 37% of voting intentions in the first-round simulation. The survey was released on Wednesday.

Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) appears in second place with 30% of voting intentions. Writer Augusto Cury (Avante) grew significantly, surpassing the other candidates and occupies third place with 10%, an increase of eight percentage points compared to the previous survey from August 14.

The percentages refer to the scenario tested by Quaest that includes Pablo Marçal, whose candidacy is being questioned in the Electoral Court. Marçal was sentenced to ineligibility for eight years due to the improper use of communication media during the 2024 electoral campaign.
