The Public Prosecutor's Office accused a young man from Guimarães of having committed a total of 81 crimes, including 76 crimes of child pornography, four crimes of coercion and one crime of hate incitement. The young man operated in forums and online platforms, where he practiced these illicit activities.
According to the prosecution, the young man believed he was a superior being and expressed the intention to create a religion. This conviction was part of the behavioral pattern that led to the charges by the authorities.
The young man was identified and investigated by the competent authorities, who gathered sufficient evidence to support the formal accusation. The Public Prosecutor's Office proceeded with the legal proceedings against the defendant.
The case highlights the growing concern with online criminal activities involving minors and the dissemination of illegal content on digital platforms.
