The National Association of Portuguese Municipalities (ANMP) today appealed to the Government to accelerate the identification of municipal investments that still need financing because they were not completed within the deadline of the Recovery and Resilience Plan (PRR). The association argues that many municipalities were left with unfinished projects when the PRR implementation period ended, and that it is necessary to quickly identify which works still need financial support to be completed. The request comes at a time when municipalities are facing difficulties in completing investments within the deadlines established by the European recovery plan. ANMP wants the Executive to create mechanisms that allow municipalities to finish these projects without compromising the initially established goals.
