Municipality promotes free French training for tourism sector professionals

Início2 September 2026 at 11:09

The Municipality is promoting free French training aimed at tourism sector professionals. This initiative aims to contribute to the qualification of human resources in the field, improve service and communication capacity with French-speaking visitors, providing participants with basic knowledge to communicate in simple everyday situations and in professional contexts.

The training has a total duration of 24 hours and takes place in-person, between September 14 and October 26, 2026, on Mondays and Fridays, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

This action is part of the Formação +Próxima program, which focuses on the enhancement and qualification of tourism human resources, recognizing municipalities as strategic partners due to their proximity to local agents and capacity to mobilize the territory.

To obtain the certificate, participants must meet a minimum attendance of 90%, participate actively, and complete the proposed activities. Registrations are available through the Academia Digital do Turismo de Portugal platform.
