Vagos: Council prepares repair of road linking Vagueira and Areão

The Vagos Municipality will proceed with the improvement of the linking road between the beaches of Vagueira and Areão. The budget for the works sets a base price of 650,000 euros, plus VAT, with an estimated execution period of 45 days.

The municipal road between Vagueira and Areão suffered significant damage due to the "storm train" that devastated the central region in the months of January and February of this year. Due to its location and characteristics, it was even among the roads most affected by the extreme events recorded.

Given the damage caused, the Vagos municipality has prepared a requalification project for the route. The municipality is now awaiting the selection of the respective contractor to begin the repair works.
