"Botija de Gás Solidária": Support payments have not been made for three months

The support payments for the "Botija de Gás Solidária" have not been made for three months, according to information confirmed to SIC by ANAFRE, the National Association of Parish Councils. This entity is responsible for managing and paying these supports to families.

According to ANAFRE, the number of applications received in recent months was much higher than initially expected. This unexpected increase in demand exhausted the available funds for the program, making it impossible to pay the support payments.

The situation leaves several families without the support they needed, at a time when the cost of living continues to be a concern. ANAFRE has not yet indicated when new funds will be available to resume the payments.
