FC Alverca announced the signing of Dawda Camara, a forward coming from Girona. The Mauritanian player signed a contract valid for four seasons with the Portuguese club.

Dawda Camara is an international for the Mauritanian national team, which means he has already represented his country in international matches. His international experience could bring more offensive options to Alverca.

The transfer represents another reinforcement for the attack of the Portuguese team, which will be able to count on the player for the upcoming sports seasons. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

At 81 years old, Pat Riley refuses retirement and transforms the Miami Heat for 2026-2027

At 81 years old, Pat Riley, president of the Miami Heat, refused retirement and carried out a deep roster overhaul for the 2026-2027 season. The main change was the arrival of Giannis Antetokounmpo, a two-time MVP, from the Milwaukee Bucks in a trade that involved Tyler Herro and other players. The Heat also signed experienced names like Klay Thompson and Tim Hardaway Jr. to reinforce the three-point shooting system, alongside Andrew Wiggins while keeping Bam Adebayo. After a frustrating season where the team was eliminated in the Play-In, Riley showed he has no intention of accepting mediocrity and put Miami back among the favorites of the Eastern Conference, although the team still needs to build chemistry on the court and face strong rivals like champion New York Knicks.
