More than half of cancer survivors may experience loss of sexual desire. The disease and oncological treatments have a significant impact on sexual health and patients' quality of life.

The Portuguese Oncology Society (SPO) decided to launch a campaign to raise awareness about this reality, which is frequently neglected in patient follow-up.

The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness among both health professionals and patients about the importance of addressing sexual health during oncological consultations.

The SPO intends for this topic to be systematically discussed during the follow-up of cancer patients, recognizing it as an essential part of supportive care for patients.
