The Guarda Nacional Republicana (GNR) issued a warning about a new type of scam arriving through traditional mail. The scheme consists of sending a letter containing a bank card in the recipient's name, apparently legitimate. The card is sent as bait to deceive victims and obtain personal or financial information. The GNR urges the population to be vigilant and not fall into this type of trap. This is not the first time Portuguese authorities have warned about scams that use the traditional mail system as an attack vector.
