A German citizen, around 70 years old, was found dead at his residence in the municipality of Calheta, on the island of Madeira. The man had been reported missing, which prompted the alert to the authorities.
The PSP went to the house and forced entry, finding the man already dead inside. The body had injuries caused by a bladed weapon.
The Judicial Police intervened in the case, given the possibility that the death may have resulted from third-party involvement. DIÁRIO reports that authorities are investigating the circumstances of the death.
